baby barrie
Im trying to find out if the company exists any where else i know it closed, can any ne help please ? Jilly In 1986, wraggs/steetley decided to move part of their operation to the steetley refractories plant in Worksop. it was taken over in the mid 90's by an american company called Baker refractories. They are based in york, pensilvainia USA. In 2000, they decided to close the operation in worksop and move to belgium. 300 people were made redundant. me being one of them. they now call it LWB refractories, their head office is near meadowhall, sheffield. Hope this helps you:thumbsup:
