marshall8
I'm in the process of doing up my lovely Victorian terraced house in Walkley and was wanting to get hold of a couple of photos from around the time our house was built in 1900. I've found one photo on picturesheffield.com which is good, but does anybody know where else I can find photos from this period, whether it be online, at the library or elsewhere? Cheers
Guest Ant
Try Sheffield Archives on Shoreham Street (take a couple of forms of id with you).
Alastair
Also try the local studies library in the main Surrey Street library where the women who work there 1. Know everything. 2. Are extremely helpful.

Well worth trying. The picturesheffield site is their collection, but currently holds only about half of the total collection.

Greybeard
The Business, Science and Technology library have copies of 'The Builder' from 1842 to 1966. You should be able to find some authentic ~1900 period illustrations in that.
