Have got all relevant certs now to confirm that Fred was born to Harry SHIRT & Sarah Emma Worthington, Harry died 1877 Sarah then married Thomas William Warrington all children are warringtons on census'. Have just ordered for the death certs for Fred and his wife Florence who died in 1944-1946 respectively, but appears that they registered the deaths under both names of SHIRT and WARRINGTON.
