Ian Bennett:

The blades have signed Birmingham Keeper Ian Bennett on loan for a month, starting with Saturdays game against Rotherham to cover for suspended Kenny.

I thought that he may have tried Phil Barnes in goal for a game, but with this signing will Warnock put Barnes on as a sub or yet again leave him out the squad?

No one knows how Warnock's brain works, so its anybody's guess! I wish he would put a keeper on the bench. No more nail-biters with Jags in goal and the defence running round like headless chickens........please! [even if we do usually win in those circumstances]

Barnes is clearly not good enough (as he never gets a chance or even on the bench) so why have him in the squad?

Bennett is a good signing. Arguably better than Kenny on his lack of form this season.

But how do we really know if Barnes is no good? Kenny has not been in sparkling form but Warnock is someone who will only change the keeper if injury or suspension kicks in. He never puts a substitute keeper on the bench even when we have to bring in a loan one.

Have you been to the reserve games this season to watch him play? Warnock has said he will make it to the first team and Rotherham may have been a good game to give him a go.

Warnock banned from touchline

Neil Warnock has been banned from the touchline against Rotherham. He was chardged with the alledged comments made to referee Mark Clattenburgh during the defeat to Watford in the Carling cup.

Looks like Macca will be taking over for the game although i'm sure Warnock will have set in his tactics before they go so he wont really be running the show.

Yes lets sack Warnock now...even though we are in the play-off places. Lets bring in McCall so he can send us down to the bottom of the division. Why did he take off Quinn and replace him with Wright?

Do you really want to sack Warnock and go down the road Nottingham Forest have gone down? :loopy:
