duffman
Chris Morgan I have been to all but a couple of home games this season and I listen to every away game if I can't get to them and it seems that Morgan hasn't had the best of seasons so far. He has been inconsistent of late, we seem to rely on Bromby more and Harley when he is not in midfield. Cullip has shored it up a bit but I wonder if another reshuffle is needed for a bit? tosh13
I agree DM to me Morgan is not good enough he is hot headed & too slow.I think Cullip is by far a better player.Warnock has made a £600.000 bid for Akyinbuyi apologise for the spelling.I am sorry he is another Ward promised so much but a let down & he has also shown interest in Bobby Zamora on loan from West Ham.UP THE BLADES
duffman
Why do we go for players with a track record that is non existent? We do not want Akinbyi! it will be more money wasted and yes he will be another Ward.
tosh13
We should be going after Stead he is young & has time to come on as a player,Acky is 30 yrs old & done nothing.There.s Chopra that plays for Barnsley he is red hot at the moment,he is on loan from Newcastle & would cost about £500.000. duffman
That's the thing, I wouldn't mind if we spent money on a kid who had time to grow but we go for players who will be getting ready to hang up their boots.

A.B.Yaffle
Originally posted by Agent **** Please god not Akinbyi.... I agree. Not worth 600,000 in my opinion. Apparently Stoke have turned down Neil's latest offer, so hopefully he'll divert his attention elsewhere. Although we do need another striker, if there isn't anyone available to us who is going to improve the squad then we should stick with what we've got. I don't know how much Stead would be available for, but he does sound more promising than Akinbyi.

Robbie Loving
it is reported from stokes side that a bid of £300,000 was offered not 600,000 i dont think akinbiyi should come down, its a waste of money as for zamora, we would only be taking him on loan anyways!! chopra is a very good option, and i think we could get him for 300,000 stead is only available on loan if at all, as hughes does like him!! but ive said all along, why cant we go for a top player BELLAMY is available i hear ha ha ha ha i still stand by shola ameobi, to be a good loan signing!! what about getting dwight yorke?? maybe old, but is a top notch player!!! i know all about the wages issue, but im sure something could be sorted, i also think a bid for chaplow from burnley might be a good chance, good defender
