Jon26
Can anyone recommend a Barbers in Woodseats? I know there is Seagrave's (which I think is quite expensive) and Baran's at the other end. It needs to be one that has trained as a mens Barber and not as a Hairdresser (there is a big difference so I have been told) I normally go to Gents Division and see Becky. Mattenmurg
I'm not a hairdresser but I suggest you ask this at your hairdresser, or the one you intend to go to. They should be able to do a colour consultation based on you hair type and condition.

GreyPrincess
Hi Guys, I have an allergy to hair dye which causes me some problems. My hair is naturally a very dark brown and I want to go blonde. Now, this shouldn't be too risky as the bleach itself does not contain PPD and shouldn't cause me any harm but I want it to look good which I'm not sure is achievable without using other colouring products. So I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good colourist in Sheffield who would be able to assess my situation and possibly come up with a solution? I just want someone who knows what they're talking about so I know I'm getting good and safe advice. Thanks
sheryl666
Hi I would recommend you have a skin test with a dye that would be used as a 'toner' these often do not contain to many pigments with being lighter in colour. People tend to react to the darker PPD dyes. You will need to be cautious regardless as applying bleach to the scalp will open up your pores and can make you more sensitive to pigment dyes regardless. It all depends on the severity of your reactions in the past, if it was severe i wouldnt go down this route at all. Hope this helps.
