bloom1961
Yes we know someone that fell for this without realising, the owner of the site threatened to tow it off site and leave it on the side of the road, so they had to sell it back to him lost a lot of money BTW, is anywhere at Ingoldmells qiuet We have 2 vans at Ingoldmells on Millfield site which is also a nice quiet site and about 10 to 15 mins from fantasy island there are quite a few quiet sites down there

Lozzypop
its a lovely site if your thinking of renting a caravan ,however if your thinking of buying one look at the rules on if you want to sell it in the future ,you can only sell back to the company, blue anchor on site ,if you sell it private it must go off site,so your really buying nothing cos without a site theyre not worth much at all.blue anchor will want it back for peanuts. nearly fell for this myself. Does anybody know if this is still true? A close friend is selling his caravan to us which is on the 'The Chase' site, we asked how long we can keep it there for and he said forever! However if this is the case, we won't be buying it!
Total Chaos
HI, I am renting one for a week soon. I am taking a child and 2 dogs. I cant wait. Does it have anything on site like a pub or anything? how far away from shops is it? Is that one of your dogs your taking in your avatar?

I should be very careful. Usually caravans can only stay on a site for so long, I think there is usually an age limit for vans. Otherwise you'd see some pretty old wrecks on site which of course you don't. The owners of sites are very strict about this rule. Beware
Allen
Does anybody know if this is still true? A close friend is selling his caravan to us which is on the 'The Chase' site, we asked how long we can keep it there for and he said forever! However if this is the case, we won't be buying it! Be very careful. Lots of sites have this rule. Static caravan ownership is a money pit...what with site fees and "sell on" rules. Not to mention "it's too old...get it off site" Buying a tourer is the better option. Take it where and when you like. Lot's of sites have seasonal pitches for tourers....and offer winter storage too, assuming you can't store at home.
GrannyGranny
Just read the T & C's before you commit. Not hard really. I was looking at a van here http://www.springsholidayestates.co.uk/trusthorpesprings/index.html I think there's no age limit its goes on the condition of the van. Its also the only site in their group where you can sub let.
