Andy C
Yes, the pub is now open again (and with it's proper name). After being left abandoned in an apparantly terrible state in it's previous guise as the Earl club, it's been refurbished into a contempory and comfortable style without losing classic features such as the stained glass windows. Bernie & Tom are in charge, and real ale has been introduced. At the time of writing there are two beers - Caledonian Deuchars IPA being a regular beer and the other changing weekly (currently Timothy Taylor Landlord). As custom builds up there are plans to add another couple of hand pumps to increase this range. The pub also has a pool table and upstairs function room. Food is likely to be introduced in late August once the kitchen is fitted out.
