MrNM
Not a good time to dig out that old Threads DVD! A return to the cold war? - Might just get to see just how beneficial our aliance with the US turns out to be.......
Scooby Doo
Send 007 in to blow em up! They're nothing but a bunch of ugly, hard faced, alcoholic crapsters anyway!
Funky_Gibbon
They won't use conventional weapons if they are going to do anything. They are more likely to 'have a fault' in the gas pipeline and cut off supply or launch a massive internet 'denial of service' attack like they did with Estonia. Greybeard
Interesting times...we better start re-opening the coal mines, - there could well be electricty rationing this winter. An asthmatic old bulldog is no match for an angry bear looking for a fight.

Fareast
The only occasions when Russia has ever ' backed down' in its international relations have been when met by determination [ Berlin airlift ] or when it has been ' priced out of the market ' [ in its final phase in 1990 ]. The present regime is as desperate for Western cash as we are for fuel so I can't see any massive changes in the near or even medium future. Tony
Hmm I think that there is a little overreaction here. It's just like the good old days of knockabout diplomacy!
