lostnfound
Personally I love the Red Deer (common referred to as the deer of redness). I quite like the beer, the staff are friendly and the red haired barmaid is looooovely. Not far from work, so always a nice trip on a Friday

Meaks
The Red Deer is looking much better now and the Broadside was very agreeable when we called in last week! It seemed to be full of freaks at the time, but they can't help that.
clogginchris
The Red Deer is a great pub. As the Landlady has said on here, it's undergone a real spruce up - new carpets, upholstery etc, and the beer is very good. I've never had a bad pint in there. Just off to do the Sunday night quiz......

Mr Doctor
just woundering if anyone had eaten or tried the food at the red deer and their opinions are of it. Going there monday lunch time It's hit-and-miss in my opinion. Some of it's really nice (I'm pretty partial to their beef in ale + giant Yorkshire pudding), but their burgers seemed rather dry and bland. *shrug*. Think a lot of the menu is bought in, could do with more homemade dishes on the menu! What are other peoples thoughts?
