Chumley
I have three basic rules for eating out : 1 - Never eat anywhere that has dishes from more than one continent on the menu. 2 - Never eat anywhere that has the words "turf" and "surf" on the menu. 3 - Never eat anywhere that has any connection with a current or former minor sporting celebrity. Dam House fails on all three.
LauraT
I'm thinking of booking the Dam House for my birthday meal, has anyone been and would they recommend it? Thanks.
zweena
Personally, I found it overpriced for very adequate food. And a little pretentious for my tastes, but that is a very personal thing. gobbyone
I have eaten there several times. They do a 3 courses for £15 during the week and it is excellent. Sunday lunch is very nice too.

fluffystuff
There is anew manager and new chef and they are just redoing the menus. Apparantly the owners wern't too happy with the standards so they have got new staff in. So watch this space
susiepoosie
I've only eaten there once and it was quite nice. Not the best place I've been but would go again.
