Runningman
Yes, you have read the title right ! Its the Cricket Club I am interested in, please no football related comments. My Grandfather played for the Wednesday Cricket Club in the 1890's and as an amateur family historian I have tried without success to gather information on the club, other than that which is readily available. This is a real long shot I know, but is there anyone out there who had a relative that played for the club. Does anyone have a team photograph, a medal, paper cutting, scorecard etc. relating to the club.
neoman
Noticed your interest in Wednesday Cricket Club. My GGG Grandfather was Tom Armitage (Yorkshire and England cricketer), but I understand he also played for Wednesday. What information do you have? Sheffield Archives, once put me in touch with someone who held a private scrapbook about the club
