Funky Dave Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 Does anyone know how I'd find out about job opprtunities in the civil service? I'm after jobs a tad above the pay scales of admin officers - perhaps at £14k or over. Also, I'd prefer to stay in Sheffield rather than be posted to other cities. D2J Posted November 1, 2004 Share Posted November 1, 2004 I joined as a temp.. 6 years later Im still there, applied for the jobs that came up whilst I was there and got in. Guest Posted November 4, 2004 Share Posted November 4, 2004 home office advertising at the moment via the job centre for temp-to-permenant admin officers £12,700 a year on a fixed contract to start off with.... you are very unliekly to find an external job for better wages for a while....
