Draggletail
They can still get them, their just too tight fisted to fork out for some more! That's what I thought, then I got talking to a guy who used to run a pub, and he said that the 'branded' glasses were provided free becaused of the advertising I reckon that must have been the way it worked in his particular pub for some reason. mr.blaze
Aye, pubs have to fork out for new glasses on a regular basis. As the lescar was shutting down theyd ran out, I had to go home and fetch a load so we were able to get a pint in!
neeeeeeeeeek
So what cider do they have if they no longer have Wrongbow??
sTaGeWaLkEr
I can't be bothered to trawl through twelve pages of text - my eyes are already bleeding - but does The Lescar still do comedy nights? or did they disappear with the refurb? If not, where's good for this kind of thing?....apart from the City Hall.
pippadoll
I haven't been down yet. What are the wine choices? Is it still paint stipper? How is the lawn doing? Is this the smokers area?

sTaGeWaLkEr
Ah right - thanks Draggle. Is it still in the same room with a similar format and free entry?
Draggletail
Ah right - thanks Draggle. Is it still in the same room with a similar format and free entry? You're welcome Same thing as was, jazz Wednesday (a couple of quid on the door typical - you could wander in without knowing payment was expected due to laid back folks on the door) Comedy Club before the refurb used to get packed and advance booking was the way to go - I was in last week on comedy night - just as busy... AlexDeadman
I have a confession to make. I had a lunchtime business meeting in the new Lescar. Luckily no-one spotted me.
