sheff_minx
You lovely beautiful forummers! It is my 21st in just over 2 weeks but I wanted to go for a nice meal with my other half, my parents and my in-laws next Sunday (6 people altogether). I know I've left it late but the whole thing just kinda crept up on me! The food needs to be nice (not bothered about prices TBH as long as the food is worth the price) but there also needs to be quite a variety as one of the dads can't eat a lot of food-types. Somewhere similar to "543" would be ideal but it can't be 543 as that's where we went last time the parents met! Have tried Dam House but they have a private function all day... We Wasabisabi but due to the dietary restrictions it wouldn't be suitable for this. Location not an issue - parents are traveling from the Peaks and Rotherham so central would be good but not essential! Please please please help! I'm getting desperate!!! Jackdanny
Now I would have said the Dam House but if it's booked then try the following 1. Manor House and Rooms, Dronfield, like the Dam House. 2. Fellicini , but don't have pizza its a bit dry. 3. 4 Seasons Restaurant at Napoleons casino .. honest, it's a little hidden gem, and you can have a little flutter after. 4. For a laugh and a retro feel ... Damons. Right back to the 80's! It's great! 5. Las Iguanas ... Just been bought out so standards will be high and the fajitas are great! simone1975
Have you tried La Luna on Ecclesall Road- Banner Cross. Really lovely food, cosy and bring your own wine. I'm taking my OH's mother there on Friday night. Yum!
blusky
1. Ye Ole Mustard Pot in Midhopestones. Guardian gastropub but it is alittle out of the way 2. Morans on Abbeydale Rd South It is a pity about Dam House because I would have said that!
