nda1970
Apparently the lovely Sophie Ellis-Bextor is doing a 'secret' intimate gig in Sheffield next Wednesday. Does anybody know where it's being held, or how I can get a ticket?

nda1970
Thanks. I don't normally listen to Hallam but I'll give it a go.
TonyTheYid
I have two tickets & am going tomorrow night. I won two tickets as part of a Sales incentive. It's some sort of Sony Ericsson bash and tickets are only available to Sony ericsson Staff, competion winners and reps.

malestrom
Yeah I won a pair as well. To be honest though I would rather watch the England game so gave mine away.

Damn, I would've paid you big money for those! Do you know anyone else with tickets that might be tempted?
TonyTheYid
Just come back. Was a very good gig! She's rather a pretty thing in the flesh. Sophie was on stage for about an hour or so. Did all hits (Groovejet, Take me Home, Murder on the Dancefloor, Mixed Up world etc), stuff from her new album and a very, very good cover of David Bowie's "Let's Dance". It going to be aired on Hallam FM at somepoint in the near future. With all these local naff indie bands, It's great that somebody is still flying the flag for pop music
nda1970
Glad you enjoyed it Tony. I'm gutted that I couldn't get a ticket, but at least I'll have a chance to hear it on the radio. I'm seeing her in Newcastle in October anyway, so really looking forward to that!
