Think I used to live a few doors away from Pete Howe on Wordsworth (338) Also Edna Hopkinson . Is it the same Pete? What band was he in? We moved to hairdressers on Chaucer Road, I went to Mansell School, anyone remember Mr. Shaw, Miss Dronfield, Mr Douglas? I can remember all the old characters, pikelet man on his black bike, Rag and bone man, if you gave him something good, you might get a magic painting book. More often it was just a balloon!
