ellielambert
Hi guys, I am trying to find out the history of the site at 722, Prince of Wales in Darnall. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what used to be there - was there anything like a factory etc and what are people's memories of that location. Also does anyone have any photos of the site in a past life or know where I could find some? Many thanks in advance, Ellie

Twirly
There use to be some cottages in front of the Davy United firm, they use to flood when the stream overflowed. I believe a Mr and Mrs Cox lived in one of them. I am going back into the early 1900s. The son Cyril married my aunt Ena Marsh.

ellielambert
I know that it is now an office development, does anyone know when this happened and when Davys (or the company who took over from them) moved off the site? Cheers
