If they want to look for a model of how Sheffield could be look at trippets lane. Cubana is always full and has a good vibe, Trippets has a wide and varied approach to the nights they put on there, The Dog and Patridge is and old boozer with a good vibe and The grapes is the best small venue in Sheffiled putting on gigs 7 nights a week and one of the main supporters of Sheffield music.

Is there any mention of gig venues? I play in a couple of bands and apart from the eccelent Classic Rock Bar, and the grapes there doesn't seem to be that many venues any more. Are the council expecting to shove live music onto a corner of the city centre?

I think Cubana is too full - they absolutely squeeze as many as they can in , adn every time I've been there, I've found it completely uncomfortable.
