EdnaKrabappe
Happy Roald Dahl day! So, which is your favourite? I'm partial to 'The Magic Finger' but I also love 'The Twits' and 'Esio Trot'.

hard2miss
Our generation grew up with his books, developed our imaginations that bloke did, hope there's some events at our kids school and they get the pleasure of reading some of his stuff. Darth Vader
Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Witches, and of course, Tales of the Unexpected. I also remember reading Switch Bitch in a private reading lesson at school and got quite a shock! ..... but enjoyed it.
llamatron
Maltilda was easily my favourite as a child but the witches and boy were also amazing. I also still like Revolting Ryhmes-amazing. There will never be a partnership as great as Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake again, they were just perfect!! I used to try to make things move with my eyes like matilda:hihi:
metalman
On the radio this morning I heard they want to raise money to preserve the hut at the bottom of the garden that Roald Dahl wrote his books in. Apparently this will take half a million pounds. Must be some hut, that's all I can say.
VideoPro
Incredible facts No. 565134: Roald Dahl is actually called Ronald. Experiencing anguish as a young man, he visited countless doctors and therapists. He eventually changed his name after finding out that he had a fear of the letter N.
