Uptowngirl
Recently got my car windows tinted to stop sunlight coming in and dazzling my daughter in the back seat, included with this was getting the boot window done too. Now however my wife is having trouble seeing out of the back window because it's too dark, so I could either remove the tint or get a lighter one put on instead - anyone had similar issues at all? Would it look daft from the outside having darker tinted rear windows and a slightly lighter tinted boot window? Can't your wife travel in the front? Grandad.Malky
not for back windows - else you wouldn't be allowed to have a van Quite right The legal position is that the front side windows on all cars must allow 70% of light to pass through them. That figure also applies to the windscreens of cars first used before April 1985; any car first used from then onwards has to let 75% of light through the windscreen No mention of rear windows. dormiles
Can't your wife travel in the front? Guess it's more about his wife being unable to drive the car...
clubfut
DO NOT USE THE ONE ON ABBEYDALE ROAD. He is a rip off merchant. Uses cheap stuff and not that good at fitting it. If you want the bubbled effect.

newstar
Some companies decide that its best to take the window out, tint and then refit the window. I would be reluctant to have the windows removed.
