Wadsley Bridge and Meynell School

Anyone out there with memories of Meynell and Wadsley Bridge. I remember I had my first drink in the pub opposite Wadsley Bridge shops - but can't remember its name. Waited until I was 18 as well - very proper young lady!! Name has just come to me White Horse.

Went to Meynell in the days of Mrs Sargent (Junior/infants) and in the senior school they had teachers called Mr Williams, Mr Bunting, Mr Fairhirst and I think the PE mistress was a Mrs Cryer. Look forward to hearing your memories.
