Clare85
I thought the question meant how the individual says it not what is correct. I say haitch, but I have been told 'aitch' is right like everyone is saying!

Ivor&Mel
As has been said several times, "aitch" is the correct pronunciation. And it takes less breath to say!
SUPERTYKE
It is Aitch. Another one to be aware of is 'Hour'. AND 'OTEL!
HarmOKnee
'Haitch' is just wrong, simple as that. It's as bad as 'should of'... yes I hate that too and as bad as "then" instead of "than"
Plain Talker
It's 'aitch'. Also watch out for 'hart', as in drawring. and that strange woman "laura Norder"?
crookes
Clever. It's late. I'm tired. I get them all except "G" Help! Oh, and it's definitely aitch. According to my granny who recited this to me many years ago, G for police was meant to sound like Chief of police. I'm sure there's a better one somewhere. As I remember, this is how the rest went I for Novello J for Oranges K for Restaurant L for Leather M for Size N for Eggs O for the wings of a dove P for Relief Q for the Loo R for Mo S for Kate T for Two U for Me V for la France W for Dog (I think) X for Breakfast Y for Mistress Z for his Hat
