Guest
hello, as is customary this time of year the organisation of our work meal is iminent. As usual everyones minds go blank about decent venues in and around the centre. Anyone got any ideas for the Christmas Meal. Preferably traditional but with the option of other things for around 25 people. It would be better in the centre but 15-20 mins outside tops would be fine as long as its on a public transport route. jamesogt
Are you a registered charity? I'd struggle to make that meal at home for £14.95 Nope though I may try i could get tax relief! Its called value for money. Believe me I could charge more but at that price we still make some profit. I count on the fact that people buy wine and drinks and often large groups stay all afternoon that is where the money is made. Also to be noted is just because its cheap does not mean it is not good! The soup is homemade, the prawns we get from Waitrose (across the road) though the pate is bought in. The Turkey and Beef are both British, served with fresh vegetables bought and cooked on the day of the booking, and the desserts though not homemade are very good. Infact last yr a large company located close to me came here for their department lunch and said it was better than their company meal at a large country wide hotel chain that they went to and paid £35! In fact I am so confident in the quality of the food we serve, that should you come and not enjoy it, I would not expect you or anyone else that agreed it was poor to pay! Last year we served 120 people for our Christmas lunches without one complaint. Why not book and prove me wrong? Call 0114 2722202 or 07855 233390 to book!
