CF8M
Here are some other names I remember, See how many you know. Hopefully I have got their dept. correct. but I am going back 19 years! In no particular order. Keith Roderick (Pattern shop?) Wally (Welding) John Lawson (melting shop?) Peter (Labourer) Martin (Electrician) - he had a darked haired mate who's name I can't recall, but these two were a laugh a minute and made a great double act! Brian King (melting shop) Paula Turtle (Accounts) Geoff Dukes Geoff Weldon (Sales) June Vallance (Wages) Talking of small world - whilst working in Debenhams a couple of years ago I was working with a YOUNG lad whose DAD turned out to be 'Wally' as listed above. Now I remember him having 2 very young kids when I worked at Edgars. Then I end up working with one of these kids some 16/17 years later! I suddenly felt very old! Keep those names coming! As I said I left in 1979 I called in to see Ray in 1989 with Sligo.Ray said then that the writing was on the wall for Edgars. I do remember Paula Turtle Some of the names that I knew Keith Bigears Wadsworth Graham Algar Bluto Latcheye Abdul Brian Hatfield Pat Fell John Ellison Albert RN Rogerson Ron Spafford David Fletcher Hayden Beresford Bob Wilson Pete England Maurice Kirk Ian Priestley Bert Race There are many more CF8M

Thanks poppins ~ it is a good thread this one isn't it? Believe me, it was a great place to work. It was the one and only job I've had (and I've had a few over the years!) that I REALLY looked forward to going to! The people were very genuine and I had some good laughs there.
