finebyme
Does anyone know Thelma Turner. That was her name when she lived in Lindsay Avenue during the war. She may have been fostered at the time because she lived with a couple by the name of Mr and Mrs Pegg. Not sure of her age, but she must be in her late 70's

I worked with a Thelma (I think Turner) at WH Smiths years back, she would be about 70s now, she was, tall, thin, red frizzy hair, loud laugh. handypandy
I grew up just around the corner from Lindsay Ave. Never knew their mom's name but I remember the kids. John and Pamela Turner and a cousin or something that used to live with them called Susan. Susan's surname was Polish, something like Lucochevsky.
