Do writing fonts alter the 'feel' of a story?

To add--yes, books are often printed in fonts other than TNR or Courier, but deciding which font to use is something that happens at the design stage, AFTER a book has been commissioned and edited. It's not what agents or editors want, and if your writing is good enough then it's not necessary to add such bells and whistles.
