Highly likely that the Sheffield LGB and Rag groups are doing something along with Student Welfare at Sheffield University and I would imagine that Hallam Union are up to something too...

As for Sheffield community beyond the students, it's hard to say...

A group of musicians from around the globe have come together to support a local organisation called Shield who supports people infected or affected by HIV and Aids throughout South Yorkshire. The album we hope will raise awareness relating to HIV and support people living with HIV. The album is both colourful and vibrant, with a message for everybody on World Aids Day December 1st 2005.
